  1. Dr. Plummer and his staff must be the most beloved doctor I’ve ever heard of. While I was in the hospital every doctor that entered my room ( there were a lot ) would see I was getting Dr Plummer as my infectious disease doctor and they would go on to tell me some story of how much he cares about his patients and wants to be called anytime of day if they need him.

I hate that is not my experience. I couldn’t get a simple call back when I really felt my infection was not gone. I’m going to say ot could be because of something I’m not aware of, something like mis communication because with all I’ve heard it doesn’t seem like he would be that kind of doctor. I just saw him again and was going to bring it up but wasn’t sure that was the right thing to do.
I’m not sure he cares for me like his other patients but even with that said I’d recommend him highly and think he may not be taking me seriously because he just said home health had a hard time with me. That may be the entire problem. My only problem has been getting to and from appts and such. Before I began with home health I made them very aware of my limitations and still we did it I thought successful but learn they did not feel that way. After you put all this trust in a nurse caring for you you find out she basically gave me a thumbs down. Wonder if that’s why he wouldn’t return my call, infections that put you through several surgeries and 6wks of IV ANTIBIOTICS is serious enough to call your patients back when they suspect the infection is still present. His receptionist didn’t understand as well. I made sure both my phone numbers were left and the receptionist put messages as emergency thinking that would get me a response. At least have a nurse call them yet no one would call me after several messages that it was a emergency. Next time I must ask why. The more I think about it the more I know it couldn’t be a misunderstanding. This infection is close enough to life threatening as anything I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve almost lost my finger during to the infection still being present. I mean call me back do another round of antibiotics. But I was ignored because comments I believe made by home health and that’s sad because I really loved those ladies.
I mean considered them a friend and feel very foolish now.
I’m am sure the issue I have is isolated to me. Id still send anyone I loved to him. Everyone says he is the best and I do believe them.

  2. I’m not sure why some people rated Dr. Plummer low. He is professional, he’s nice and he was willing to answer any questions or concerns that I had. His medical assistant was so sweet and caring. I felt comfortable with him and his staff. I look forward to working with him. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍🏽👍🏽

  3. I drove an hour and a half to see him and this was my first time coming to his Robertsdale office, I had only been to his Foley office in the past. I’m unfamiliar with the area and had to stop and ask for directions twice which made me late for my appointment. After I finally found it I tried to explain to the receptionist what happened and she was extremely rude and Dr. Plummer refused to see me and dismissed me as a patient for being late.

  4. Dr. Plummer and his staff are very kind and helpful. This is the second occasion when I have needed Dr. Plummer’s expertise for wound care and just like my first injury, Dr. Plummer and his staff provided me with excellent care and advise. I have been truly blessed to be in their care.
