A-1 Auto repair is the place to go for auto repair! This is my second time going to A-1 to have my 2010 Toyota Sienna van repaired. Air conditioner was not working, Ron checked out the van and made the air cold again! Ron is very honest and takes the time to explain what is needed to his customers. His shop is very clean and has a nice wait area too. Go see Ron at A-1 auto repair. Definitely 5 stars!
Ron and Staff have been able to help my girlfriendās and Iās auto problems well since weāve moved here to Sacramento within the passed 8 months. Weāve gone to him for multiple car repairs and would highly recommend giving his shop a visit if you are looking for top tier care for reasonable and affordable pricing.
Weāve visited Ron and his team a number of times, and they have been able to work on our Acura MDX replacing our timing belt and breaks. Ron worked diligently on three different occasions to continuously work on my 2018 BMW with itās faulty coolant system. Ron demonstrated great patience, dedication, and expertise. He was also able to fix our BMW coolant system, provide greater service compared to other specialty European auto shops with greater affordability.
This review is looong overdue. I came to Ron when I first moved to Sac 11 years ago and he was near my apartment in midtown.
Ron has always been honest and super helpful. One time, years ago, when I had an issue with my tires as I was driving, I pulled into his shop and he took time to help me even if though he isnāt a tire guy. That showed me he valued his customers.
Since then, life has changed a lot. Got married and had a kid and moved away to Garden Hwy out of midtown. But I still bring my cars and my wifeās and families cars to Ronās. I even bring my Porsche Cayenne into him for oil changes (and heās done a few other jobs on it) since European only shops charge way more.
Heās never upsold me and has told me to wait out certain repairs that arenāt pressing. As long as Iām in Sacramento heāll be my guy.
The first time I brought Bessie (2001 Tahoe) in for service I asked Ron the owner for a tune up and radiator flush. He said āNo problem on the tune up but if I flush your radiator youāll need $1500-$2000 in new parts because the system is older and full of sediment. Save you money and skip the radiator flush ā
Iāve had nothing but excellent service at reasonable prices over the last 10 years. Bessiieās gone but I wonāt go anyplace else for car repair work.
Ron is an incredibly friendly guy and works hard to fit you in at a time that works for you. Heās trustworthy and sometimes doesnāt charge for certain parts or labor depending on the job. I trust him with my car 100% and I wouldnāt take my car to anyone else in the Sacramento area.
