Facing an end-of-day deadline on my truck’s smog inspection one recent afternoon, I was thrown a lifeline by Northgate Auto Repair. They took my phone call and told me to come on down. (Another smog-test shop that promised to do the work that day suddenly had to ration their service when too many customers all showed up at the same time—with me as the odd man out.) Upon my arrival at Northgate, an employee named Keith promptly took the work order despite having two other customers also in line for the same work. He did a great job for all three customers who left satisfied. I appreciate Keith very much. For all my future automotive needs on my truck, I plan to give Northgate the business.
This car repair place is excellent. They repair what’s needed expertly; let you know of other services they believe should be done but never leave you with a long list of expensive services that could be done but don’t need to be done at that time. If it’s not broken (or about to need service) don’t fix it. I have them do my oil changes and anything I need for my car.
Take my cars here for Smog and oil changes. Always in and out quickly. When I need car repairs they explain everything and go over options. Great honest people.
Keith is a very good technician. I have an older pickup that needed a smog STAR certified and he helped me through the process I take all my vehicles here they are very professional I thank them for their service
Just from the first call I make to ask “Hi would you guys be able to check out my car today?” I got a “uhhh not really” , like what type of customer service is that. Thats not the way to answer, plus I was asking him and he was talking to someone else as well on the other side, how RUDE!
