This office is at the least unorganized and at the most dishonest. They told me I hadnât met my deductible, then said I had. Wanted me to pay over $700 up front for a brace and orthotics without even trying my insurance. When I told them Iâd have to think about it and let them know, they filed a claim anyway for a piece of equipment I did not get. I definitely think they take advantage of patients who might not read insurance statements or might not know what their insurance covers. I WOULD NOT use this practice or allow my family to go here.
My husband has had a really hard time with his feet and I am so glad Dr. Stark has taken care of him! His office is fast, efficient, and you can see how much they enjoy their jobs. Dr. Stark did an awesome job making sure my husband was comfortable during his procedure (he was so nervous!). He has a great personality and we are so thankful to be under his care! If we have any other feet trouble, we will definitely be using and recommending Dr. Stark and his awesome team!
I am honestly surprised at 4+ stars. My honest experiences:
Long waits even when no one else in lobby, very pleasant vibes. Nothing above and beyond, but not rude either.
Now for the surgery. đ one pill before I arrived, 1 pill when I got yo the office. I donât know about you, but having surgery at a doctors office was uncomfortable. I didnât see any er or life saving equipment. I had surgery in the same room Iâve had pedicures.
The surgery I had was from hammertoes and bone rubbing together causing chronic corns. I left with a corn still in tact (I have a file of corns, and he always sent back home with the painful things). The surgery I had wasnât even 1 year ago, more like 10 or 11 months ago and now I have 2 corns rubbing each other on those same toes that I had surgery on. Maybe I should take this to the BBB for a refund on my surgery.
Made an appointment with the â call centerâ for a Friday morning. Drove 45 minutes to the appointment only to find out the Dr doesnât even come in on Fridays. They have known about this issue for at least 5 months, considering Dale Weaverâs review mentioning the same issue that was posted 5 months before this one. Ensure that you are speaking with a staff member in the office not some call center
Well letâs see Dr. Stark is a good foot doctor but he wants me to do a laser treatment thatâs not covered by insurance that is over 2,000 dollars and his words and I quote it may or may not work. Then he suggested electric nerve which is a machine and pads that you get to use at home and not covered by insurance and that almost 300 dollars. I get the money for that and they are sold out there last one and have to order more.
