We purchased mostly packed foods for my teen to sample. H Mart LA K-Town is a shelves full market with multiple options for many products. Very friendly shopping experience that will bring us back again next time. Parking is free in the under building parking garage. Stair and elevator access to each floor.
Got a haircut at Sono Felice. My specialist beautician was Gahee. Overall, for a dying mall space it was refreshing to see a bustling salon with good service and good skilled hair stylists. Granted, I didn’t really need much actual cutting. The shampoo process has a brief massage and post cut shampoo includes a different brushing technique with a motorized scalp machine. Intended to stimulate hair follicles I assume… lol. At 60 bucks plus tip, it’s on the slightly pricier side of medium price for the same level of services at other shops like Hills… overall, despite the setting in an older mall, very decent experience. Would go again. Be nice to Danny and Eileen? The younger workers there. Looks like their first jobs.
A lot of selection to buy here worth visiting if you are around Korea town
This is one of the old Korean markets in Koreatown. Just a decade ago, it used to be the most bustling mall, but now it seems that the number of customers has decreased, possibly due to the presence of many other Korean markets in the vicinity. As someone living in Las Vegas where there are no large Korean markets, I still cherish this mall. Especially, the food at the food court brings back nostalgic memories and tastes fantastic.
We are so spoiled with the number of H-Marts in our area. This is a decent one, but older, more cramped and less selection. Still, good quality H Mart produce, Korean goods, and the usual good service.
