  1. Pros:

Excellent Prices: WinCo Foods consistently offers lower prices compared to many other grocery chains, which is a major plus for budget-conscious shoppers. The bulk bins section is particularly noteworthy, providing significant savings on items like grains, nuts, and spices.
24/7 Operation: The store operates around the clock, making it incredibly convenient for those who prefer shopping during off-peak hours to avoid crowds or have irregular schedules.
Employee-Owned: The employee-owned nature of WinCo fosters a positive shopping environment, as staff members have a vested interest in customer satisfaction and store success.
    Cons:

Self-Service Focus: Shoppers should be prepared for a mostly self-service experience. While this model helps keep costs down, it may not appeal to everyone, especially those who value high levels of customer service and assistance.
Crowded and Fast-Paced: The store can get quite busy, particularly during peak shopping times. The fast-paced environment and the need to bag your own groceries can make the shopping experience a bit hectic for some.
    Conclusion:
WinCo Foods on W Ashlan Ave in Clovis is a great choice for those looking to stretch their grocery budget without sacrificing the quality of goods. The store’s extensive selection, especially in bulk items, and the convenience of being open 24/7 make it a standout option in the area. While the shopping experience leans heavily on self-service and does not support credit card payments, the overall benefits, particularly the low pricing, make it worth a visit. Ideal for night owls, bargain hunters, and anyone interested in a no-frills shopping experience where the cost savings are clearly evident.

  2. My favorite place to shop. Prices are usually better than Wal-Mart. I go there at least every other day for milk & ice. Very convenient from parking to check-out, (unless you go during peak times). After 10pm they close off a couple isles, & you have to navigate the employees restocking the shelves. Even so, I feel it’s worth it.

  3. There is no quality control with the meats. This year we have found a long hair in the middle of the ground beef pack. A silver piece of paper like material in the pork. I’m almost positive the food poisoning my entire family had was from their pizza ( take and bake ) we have had meat turn purple / grey after a day in the fridge 🤢 something is wrong
