I was operated on 6/6/16 for colorectal cancer by Dr Achanta and unfortunately I had another bout and surgery on 11/17/22 but not the same location. Once again Dr. Achanta literally saved my life. 2 Major Surgeries and I’m here to talk about it. My blood work has returned better than it has in years and my strength has returned. He is not only a great surgeon but an incredible person. He treats you like family and is very caring and extremely concise with instructions his former PA Nina and his present PA Emily are also wonderful assets. At 77 I’ve had over 10 surgeries in my lifetime and I only wish he could have been my surgeon for all of them.
Dr Kranthi is the best when it comes to the craft of ‘removing gall bladders’. He’s very knowledgeable, humble and jovial person. I was at completely at ease when he operated on me to remove my gall bladder. His whole team as a result follows the same values and treats you like family and takes very good care of you.
Dr. Achanta is very thorough and dedicated doctor. He was pretty good with my dad and handled his case very well. I would highly recommend him for any GI related issues and surgery.
I went to ER almost midnight 3 weeks ago. Early morning Dr Beale came in after my CT scan telling me i might have a surgery and surgeon will discuss it. Thank God for Dr Achanta being on call that day. I believe he saved my life. Had a major surgery that can be life threatening if we waited. He wheeled me in himself all the way to pre op room while we waited for the anesthesiologist Dr Wi (another wonderful dr). I knew i would be in good hands with him and his surgical team. Thank you so much Dr Achanta for being a highly skilled surgeon with a good sense of humor and a very friendly attitude. God bless you and keep you safe. Your patients need you!
Dr Achanta is a very caring doctor. I had a great experience with him while getting treatment from him during recent surgery. I highly recommend him.
