The employees have always made me feel welcome and is the biggest reason why I shop there. It is really good for specialty grocery items. The only drawback is the prices. Especially the meat and deli departments. The quality is good, but not good enough for the prices charged.
Mar-Val has served our community as the main grocery store in our area. They have great selection, great produce, awesome deli/bakery, good meat dept, store is always clean with outstanding service and wonderful staff.
We’ve been shopping at Mar-Val Food Store for some time now.
It is an immaculate clean store with fresh foods, a very colorful produce department, and there are big dairy and freezer departments that have plenty of selections to choose from as well.
Jeannie and the yummy good bakery department, Colin and the meat department, and the complete store is stocked very well!!

On June 9th 2024 at 2:32pm I me and my wife went to Mar Val at Valley Springs and the check out girl named Olivia was very rude she did not say anything to us and while checking in groceries she was so busy talking with her next lane checker she would actually stop and turn around to talk to her about some personal stuff and after spending over $170.00 for grocery she did not even help us bag the groceries my wife and I did the bagging and she did not even say thank you she is very rude and does not even interact with the customer she is not good for the business of Mar Val they need to have good talk to her about good customer service skills I hope that management of the store read this. Thanks
Marval never disappoints. Nothing like a freat quality steak cooked how I like it! Gnom Gnom Produce is always top shelf too
