1. Dr. Alam seems very attentive. He spent adquit time with me as I was a new patient. They offer patient communication through the patient portal but I soon found out it’s not monitored. When trying to call you are routed through the main hospitals phone system. This causes the whole system to be congested. So as far as doctor/patient communication goes it’s Bad!. So to sum it all up, Dr. Alam is great. The hospitals system is very outdated.

2. Very good Doctor, He really takes the time to get to know you and address all of your questions and concerns. He truly cares about helping you get better and get to the bottom of the situation you’re facing. He even explained everything to me in away I would understand it. I am very grateful to have found a Doctor I can trust and that would truly listen to all I had to say and I am feeling I highly recommend Dr. Alam

3. Mixed feelings. Our whole family sees Dr. Alam and we love him. We love his staff. Everyone is friendly. My issue….I’ve never had one medication authorization completed or specialist referral request followed through. I requested to see my female doctor….never done. It’s been three years since an exam. I was told that I should be having an annual appointment with cardiology….never done. That is now also over three years. My insurance doesn’t require a referral but Cullman Medical Center does. Very difficult decision because we do all see him and like him but may have to start making the drive elsewhere. When you are seen for an urgent issue and are asked, “Who is your cardiologist?” and have to respond also to, “Why don’t you have one?”…..well, I’m not sure? Disappointed with that aspect.

4. If you want a great experience then this is the doctor for you. He takes the time to get to know you and address all of your questions and concerns. He truly cares about helping you get better as well as improve your quality of life. Hands down the best physician I have ever had. I couldn’t of made a better choice. His staff is top notch too. If you want a great experience from start to finish this is the doctor and staff for you. They make you feel comfortable and truly cared about. You leave feeling better just in how they treat you. I’m sure this is 1 of many reviews to come. CRMC hit a home run when they hired Dr Alam!

5. I had a great experience at Dr. Alam’s office yesterday. He and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Dr. Alam has a sincerity about him and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their health. He makes things easy to understand and explains things well. I was in and out of the clinic within an hour and a half for my new patient appointment. I would absolutely recommend him to others!
