  1. Great location. The hotel itself is long past due for a face-lift. The facilities are rundown in many areas, particularly in the pool area. No direct pool service (need to schlep into the bar (wet) to get anything. The place is just tired. That all notwithstanding, the location is great, rooms are large and the mountain view is amazing.

  2. I have fond memories staying here with friends nearly a decade ago and we stayed again here recently. The location cannot be beat as it is conveniently located close to the heart of downtown Palm Springs.

Self parking is behind the hotel but you need a key card to use the elevator into the hotel. Needless to say you should have someone check in beforehand. $30/night

The staff were kind and helpful and despite the hotel being fairly old they had done some renovations to the lobby and the rooms were good to me. Nice mini fridge and shelving in the closet.

I love the layout with the living room separated from the bedroom. There is a lot of space in the living area which is great if you have a family or hosting friends.

    Would definitely stay here again!

  3. I wanted to leave a review to praise BENJI, the bartender. My boyfriend and I recently stayed for a few days for Fourth of July and Benji provided the best service! Not only for us but for other guests that weren’t dining but needed help. He was always smiling and had no problem helping anybody in need. I hope to see him next time we visit. Furniture in lobby definitely needs to be replaced. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Parking may be unavailable so they have you park on street behind hotel. Perfect location right in the middle of downtown Palm Springs. They have a little shop in corner of hotel that needs to be restocked so I’d provide your own snacks. Don’t forget your hotel card anywhere! You need it everywhere you go! Elevators, rooms, and if lucky getting a parking pass for garage underneath hotel. I hope Benji gets a raise or at least a bonus!

  4. Location is the best thing about this place. Rooms are dated. No info from staff on hours, locations of amenities at all. No valet parking anymore? You have to drive your car behind the hotel, enter the garage, drive past two gates with barbed wire on top. Looks dark and a little unsafe frankly, and I’m a big guy. This is how you treat guests who pay upward of 250 a night. Bar is decent, good bartenders, although not well stocked. Staying on first floor, have to go up to 3rd floor to get ice. Really? Pool area needs work. Planters leak, water stains on the concrete, dirty broken furniture area looks rundown and dirty. A good pressure washing would help. Maybe…
Checked in on Sunday evening. Talked to front desk on Tues morning to request housekeeping on Wed morning before Noon. 1230 we get back to the room, no housekeeping. Sigh…can’t even comply with one request. And we are paying a premium for the Suite we are in. I wanted in cleaned on the 3,Rd day …c’mon folks
Place has went downhill quite a bit from a year ago. If you are a Hyatt branded property I expect more
One last thing ..I have never stayed in a room with no clock or alarm. Ever
Holiday Inn Express does a better job, and the coffee is free
    Won’t be staying here again.

  5. The location is outstanding. The hotel was clean top to bottom. Our room was spacious with great views all around. The pool area was great. The entire staff is courteous and helpful. Everything was delivered as promised. Extra thanks to Leslie for helping us throughout our stay.
