The staff helped my daughter wish come true through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They were soooo attentive, patient, and welcoming. We love Best Buy in Hoover, and I’m glad they were a part of her wish. Cedric helped with all her gaming needs. Side note: Of all the things she received today, the hat that Bobby gave her was the best! Thank you all so much, and you will forever be in our memories!
This Best buy was like super Best buy. I’ve never been in a Best buy this large before. The service was great. It was a little slow but they were nice and friendly and knowledgeable. I only took one photo and I was just because it was something I hadn’t seen before but the store was very clean Honeywell organized.
Two days ago, I had such an amazing experience at Best Buy I want to share it. I wanted to purchase a printer, order a rug, and pay with my Best Buy points and a gift card. After getting a cart, I went to the printer area where I was offered help immediately upon entering the aisle. A nice man put the printer on my cart and ensured it was secure before I pushed the cart. I then approached the checkout counter where several cashiers were ready to assist customers. I told the cashier about ordering the rug, assuming it would be a separate and time-consuming transaction. I was so wrong! I pulled out my phone to show him a picture of the rug I wanted, but I realized I hadn’t taken the picture after all. All I said was that I wanted a rug and stated the price and in less than five seconds he held up a picture of the exact rug I wanted. I am a Best Buy Total member, and he must have been able to access my browsing history. It really saved the day for me. I didn’t have to waste time searching for it on my phone. He asked me if I wanted to have the rug shipped or pick it up, reviewed the time options, we settled that and he completed the transaction with just one receipt. End-to-end the entire shopping and checkout experience was under 10 minutes, and I was back in my car headed home with my printer. The customer service execution was so smooth and flawless that it nearly took my breath away. Best Buy doesn’t just sell technology, it uses technology to create a fantastic customer experience. Other retailers need to catch up to this level of service. The Best Buy store in Hoover impresses me every time I shop there. Thanks for making my day better!
Had to get a new phone, and an employee couldn’t find the one I wanted in the back. I do believe he was in a rush to leave as his shift was ending. However, I’m giving 5 stars due to the awesome employee we were transferred to, Canon. He was able to quickly find the phone I saw on the website. Not only that, but he continued to help us with the whole data transfer from my old phone to the new one. Although he was one of the only two people on the salesfloor at the time, he managed to direct and help other customers while still giving us plenty care and attention.
I’m giving Best Buy 2 out of 5 stars due to our experience with the sales staff. We went in looking for a laptop. We told them our budget and the sales person tried selling us something over our budget without telling us why the laptop was better and justifying the extra cost. At checkout, the salesperson misrepresented the yearly membership. He stated it would cover two years of protection plan on the laptop and save us $20. He sold it to my wife. He also stated that if we canceled the plan next year, the protection would carry over to the next year. She brought the brochure to me and the “up to 2 years of protection” verbiage got my attention. When I questioned this guy he stated he was certain it would cover 2 years even if we canceled the membership. My wife read the fine print and it clearly states that if the membership is canceled so is the protection plan. The sales experience got worse. I was looking for some speakers. We needed wireless. The sales guy tried selling us speakers that were not wireless and more expensive. Do your homework before coming to this location to buy.
