  1. Nothing spectacular, but a satisfactory experience considering the low price point. The bed was just ok, but the room was clean all around. Free shampoo and body wash were provided and were actually pretty decent quality, didn’t leave my hair feeling all stringy after a wash. The pool was nice, but was a bit dirty. Importantly, the AC in the rooms works well and was not too noisy. Tons of free parking, but I’d try not to leave valuables out in the open or even in your trunk. Stayed here during Splash House weekend, just a quick walk down the street to the Saguaro hotel (event venue) and it worked out well. Diner, coffee shop and grocery stores within walking distance.

  2. Dishonest and sneaky, this place set me up to take my money. The room was not worth its cost. Booking and check in were easy enough despite the road crew tearing the road up right in front of the driveway, luckily I knew that there was another way to enter. When I got to the room the air conditioner was set to 65 degrees, nice and cool. The smell of cigarettes was strong but it’s a two star place and the price was right so I didn’t complain. The bed linens were clean but the pillows smelled like smoke. The decor was dated and the place was clearly in need of repair, ie: the handle on the toilet room door was falling off and the shower head was falling apart, could be why the water pressure was so low, it took forever to get rinsed off. There was tape around the air conditioner keeping the hot air from coming in. The ceiling was stained brown right above the entryway. Even still
it was a “cheap room” so I didn’t complain. At checkout the person at the desk used a radio to contact housekeeping I presume they were checking the status of my room. The housekeeper responded “the smoke in the room” and immediately the person at front desk says “you don’t get your deposit back”. That deposit was $100 cash and I was not happy about being swindled. I told them that the room smelled like smoke when I got in and they said I should have complained about it as soon as I got in. The room was a terrible price in the end because they swindled me for the entire $100 deposit including the cost of one night for something that happened before I got there. Watch out, these people are dishonest and will rip you off! Not leaving rested
leaving upset that I got scammed.

  3. Would not recommend this hotel. Yes its cheap but not worth it. 1st room we got was disgusting. Stained carpet, wallpaper peeling off, brown spots on the ceiling, door had grey marks smeared all over it, towels smelled like mildew and the sink had a big leak. Moved rooms because of the leak and the 2nd room was just as bad. Honestly was worried that there was bed bugs because it just felt gross being in that room. People there were sketchy, and it didn’t even feel safe being there. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

  4. Travelodge gives you quite a bit for the low price you pay. While they could use some minor maintenance and upgrades soon they are pretty good for the price. What keeps me coming back is the front desk are all great people. Really go above and beyond to get you what you need and always smiling and friendly. The pool is great and noise level is at a minimum.

  5. the most DISGUSTING hotel you will ever stay at. Luis at the front desk was condescending. We reported our room was just vile. He didn’t offer us a clean room he only gave me attitude and talked to me like i was stupid. He lied to the general manager and told him he offered us a clean room. If that was offered to us we would have taken a CLEAN ROOM. Front desk was a nightmare. When checking in they didn’t even ask for our ID. Not safe! Keys to get into the room never worked. Drug addicts everywhere. by the pool my 11 year old son and i watched people shoot up and start leaning by the pool area. I was followed back to room while walking my dog by some man on a bike right after sun down. Ok not safe for families. Trash under the beds. Room smelt like a fresh ashtray. Cut out carpet. Moldy walls and bathroom. Blankets were so gross i felt so uncomfortable sleeping in the bed. Ruined my son’s floaty with the bathroom door piece of sharp wood broken sticking out it got caught walking through the opening. My husband and i looked around in just awe we couldn’t believe how gross the room was. General manager ignored my emails regarding our stay and how we were treated . When my husband and i called to speak with him. Front desk said he doesn’t take calls. So obviously he was ignoring the situation. In the generals manager email he said the management of housekeeping said the room was “guest ready” . This room should not be ready for anyone. This place is DISGUSTING AND NOT SAFE! Do not take your small children here. Staying at a cheaper place doesn’t mean it has to be disgusting or get treated badly.
