1. Have absolutely no bad experience at this hotel. The rate was beyond reasonable, the room was clean. I reserved a non-smoking room before hand and thus was given a non-smoking room. They also have boat parking with power for those looking to fish the area and the pool has a lift for those with handicapped needs. That was the first for me to see that and have stayed at a lot of high-end hotels that did not have that amenity. Great experience if I’m through the area I will definitely stay here again.

The first night, our room was awful: stains on the bedspreads, the HEAVY table top wasn’t attached to base and the whole thing collapsed when I leaned on it (I shudder to think what would happen if a child had been under it), the room smelled damp and of mildew, we awakened to dripping water from the ceiling (thus, the damp, mildew smell) and a wet suitcase. I have allergies and asthma, so this was a horrible combination. The staff was very nice and offered an apology and a different room the second night. The second room was better (at least the ceiling wasn’t leaking and the table was usable). There were still issues, but I could breathe at least.

   The property wasn’t well kept – there were broken lights, fixtures, and furniture throughout. The room with the ice machine was not clean. The nicest area at the hotel was the main lobby.

   Can’t say I’ll be choosing any Red Roof Inns in the future if this is the standard to expect.

3. Absolutely filthy dirty room. Check the other review sites before you book. We found clothing (not ours) behind the bed, crud in every corner, sheets that reeked of cigerette smoke. The heater did not work, and when we finally got it to turn on, it set of the fire alarms. The hot breakfast (or lack there of) is a total joke.
   There is no EXCUSE for this level of service and while the management will chime in below this post that they respect our comments – they are not doing anything to actually clean the property up.

4. If I could give this 0 stars I would, I always check beds when I visit hotels, I checked the bed here, disgusting! BEDBUGS!!!! Do not come here. When I went to get a refund not being in a room for 10 mins they would not give me one, I started showing pictures to them, “this is how you serve your guests”BED BUGS. Don’t sleep here.

5. Very comfortable beds very very comfortable beds. The rooms themselves are okay ours the phone didn’t work so we couldn’t call the front desk to get a wake up call you have to use your own to call. Front check in was easy quick and the man was very nice. They have ice machine they have a Coke vending machine at the time we were there they had a snack vending machine with nothing at all in it. The breakfast is nothing to brag about which is okay Hardee’s is right down the road But they have good hot strong water nice good clean towels and friendly people. And that’s really all you’re looking for when you stay in a room anyway.
