You have these weird top flight security bozos here who will profile the average individual for stealing when you havenāt āstolenā anything. This happened to me today when trying to get cans of cat food for my ill pet.
This is a slums driven supermarket through and through, so I get the staff is on edgeā¦howeverā¦normal customers should not be profiled for things they brought with the receipt at hand. Iām giving this place a 2 out of 5. You can find way better supermarkets within inner city DC or Maryland who arenāt this foolish.
This place has absolutely atrocious service. And just walking into the place is absolutely insane. The amount of people standing there begging and causing a ruckus. God forbid you need help. I stood there five minutes at self check out asking ādoes anyone work here?ā Only to be told I didnāt ask for help. Horrible service.
I bought a fruit bowl $18.99, nice looking fruit , look really fresh. Went home to make fresh juice when I got near the bottom of the bowl it was watermelon light and dark pink sour stale tasting very dissatisfied. I should have taken a photo.
If I could give 0 starsā¦. This Safeway is notorious for selling expired food products. And also RECALLED food products. I got terrible food poisoning from a Sargento crackers and cheese platter I bought from here. As for the expired products, who thinks to check the expiration on gum? Yes, I bought expired gum. I bought this packet of gum in May, expiration says January. They tryna kill us yall. Also, check for molded fruit before buying. They will try to hide the jacked up ones at the bottom. After many failed tries shopping here Iāll just have to go further to get better quality and get treated better. Finally, they will racially profile you. My boyfriend has been followed more times than I can count. They might as well just shut this location down.
Store ghetto as ever. Yāall never open on time but always wanna close early. Apparently they close at 9:50pm and not 10pm. Wanted 1 item and be out at 9:50 and they talking about they closed. When Iām outside at the time of
