Only 2 servers across the whole restaurant, the wait for one server to come to your table was around 10 minutes. They weren’t very friendly. There were so many bugs flying around, some even crawling on the customers. You could tell the fish and mozzarella sticks were frozen and thawed. Although, the parking lot was full and lots of people were coming in and out. Overall this whole experience was terrible. I absolutely do NOT recommend coming.
We drove 2 hours to try this restaurant and we’re so glad we did! Our clean plates say a lot! Delicious home cooking! Best chicken fingers I’ve had in decades. Pecan pudding to die for. All fresh and made like Mamaw used to!
If you have not tried The buffet at The sawmill you are missing out. Everything on the buffet is fresh and the buffet is kept neat and clean. The salad bar is excellent and very large. Try the chicken and dumplings. They are some of the best you can find anywhere.
Haven’t eaten here in a few years so it was nice to be back. The place hasn’t changed much and the food is still good and fresh. We had biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs and bacon. The coffee is hot and fresh so all in all still a good place for a hot breakfast. Nothing gourmet about this country restaurant, just good food and friendly folks.
There is no better menu or burger in Bibb county, this place is top notch, they have the best burgers & potato wedges that money can buy. My nephew loves the hot wings, and my mom loves the fried chicken teriyaki. Order is always right. 10/10.
