  1. Buyer Beware! Bought a 23 Tacoma two weeks ago in a bit of a hurry due to the immediate need for a truck with my job. Drove from Montgomery and bought it in the evening so didn’t notice all the flaws. My fault completely at taking the word of them and reviewing the photos online. Over paid on the truck and under paid on my trade but the harsh need for a truck was there. It only has 27K miles so I assumed the factory warranty would handle issues.

To my surprise, I began noticing all of the major flaws with the truck beginning with zero maintenance records (should have run then but didn’t). First thing was finding a GPS beacon (AirTag) hidden under the dash in a plastic bag. Why would that be there? Destroyed it immediately and made sure that tracking was out.

Come to find out the Blind Spot Monitor was broken as well as the electronics on the windshield mirror. So, I take it to my dealer who informed and showed me there had been an undisclosed wreck and the rear bumper had been painted. This voided the warranty on the BSM as it was noticeable that the sensors were glued back in place. This alone will cost me over 1k out of pocket to fix. The mirror wiring somehow was broken and the dealer showed me where it was “hot wired” back into the unit. Expensive fix if I decide to do it. Shotty wiring was just wrapped with electrical tape, tucked into the headliner with crimp on ends and doesn’t work. Warranty? Nope.

There was only one key with it. Pulling it out of the case, the emergency key wasn’t even cut, so all I have is the push to start and ordered a second. Not cheap either.

The carpeting is extremely worn as there were no mats.

I noticed that from the front passenger headlight and bumper, all the way down the side and rear side bumper has a series of long scratches. They attempted to cover it up but even the cover up paint doesn’t match. Took to body shop to get this helped out. Helped out a little but still very noticeable. More money.

Truck was heavily smoked in and has cigarette burns in four places across the headliner. Took to upholstery shop for attempted repairs. Couldn’t do much but it is better. More money.

Rear window is shot. Scratched beyond repair and when I took it to the tint shop, they stated there was no real way to cover it up other than replace the glass, so I am stuck with that issue.

At the end of the day, the truck was filthy when I bought it. So the first stop was my detailer. Wow did he ever point out the wear and tear he found I am not going to even go into here because it is all cosmetic.

The owner and I hardly spoke during the process and all I got was a fist bump on the way out the door. I was the only customer in there. Maybe he realized he was selling me something he shouldn’t have and there was a little remorse? Larry was a nice guy, wish he would have given me a heads up on the test drive. Lesson definitely learned. Do your homework! Due to my rush, I didn’t. Hurting now over it and don’t want anyone else to have the remorse I do. I see the link to add photos. Why would I add 50 photos of this experience just to make it worse?

  2. Y’all. Best vehicle purchasing experience ever. I purchased a truck on behalf of my company. We traded 2 of our other trucks and purchased one. They went above and beyond to take care of us. We came from and hour away and I felt like I was their only customer. Reading the reviews, there are very few negative reviews, and they seem to be circumstantial and very few. In a small business, things will happen. But I promise, they want nothing more than to offer a quality product, and the best customer service. I will be back!

  3. Amazing customer service experience. Jessie is your man to make the deal happen. From the first call to walking out the door we were welcomed, respected, and valued. Made an incredible deal and if you’re in the market to buy then do yourself a favor and give them your business. We are completely satisfied with how we were treated and the speed in which we were able to make our deal happen.
